Utmost attention is given by leather specialists to selecting high quality hides to compliment the design and feel of the item. By nature, however, leather is rarely perfect. Our team is well suited to advise clients on the most suitable raw materials for each type of article to create a fine piece of natural art. Premium quality hand-picked leather sourced from trusted suppliers with years of expertise, branded raw materials and highly functional product features are used to create superior leather goods.

While designing every decision is made consciously, we not only carefully select materials and components to make the end product as clean as possible but also strive to create a design that generates the lowest waste. Raw Hide is processed in an environment friendly way, in accordance with REACH regulations, slowly shifting towards Chrome free leather and Eco-friendly leather to reduce our carbon footprint. We strongly believe that using skilled craftsmen working in a healthy working environment leads to high-quality products and therefore, safe working conditions (noise levels, cleanliness, safe drinking water, spacious workplace) are maintained and a comprehensive Health & Safety policy applies. No Child Labor is employed in our operations.

Our facility has the perfect blend of technology and craftsmanship, besides following lean manufacturing techniques and quality controls necessary for mass production. We have a production capacity of 50,000 small leather goods and 10,000 bags per month, providing employment to over 100 permanent & contractual workers.

Silver Melon Pvt. Ltd. was founded by our Director, Mr Yogesh Agarwal, with a vision to offer fashion houses a reliable, well-organized, high-quality leather goods partner for their sourcing needs. Having an engineering background and graduating from the University of Cambridge (UK) with a Masters in Manufacturing Engineering and Management, our director has first-hand knowledge and expertise in global manufacturing and management aspects of running an industry. This entrepreneurial zeal of the company’s board of directors along with the experience and passion of the dedicated team of designers, skilled labourers and production managers has helped customers grow their business and expand organically, thus enabling Silver Melon to become a preferred supplier for many established leather goods buyers both in India and globally.
