At Silver Melon, we constantly strive to make Sustainability and Fashion work in tandem. Sustainability is embedded in our day-to-day activities. It’s a responsibility that starts with the procurement of materials and ends with the creation of a judicious attitude to consumption for our customers. While designing every decision is made consciously, where we not only carefully select materials and components to make the end product as clean as possible but also strive to create a design that generates the lowest waste. We source leather from tanneries associated with Leather Working Group (LWG) in accordance with REACH regulations, slowly shifting towards Chrome free leather and Eco-friendly leather to reduce our carbon footprint. Other raw materials thar are used in making our products such as nylon, polyster, cotton canvas are also recycled and bio degradable to make sure low carbon footprint is left behind.

We are a SA8000:2014 & ISO 9001:2015 certified company with a strong believe that using skilled craftsmen working in a healthy working environment leads to high-quality products and therefore, safe working conditions (noise levels, cleanliness, safe drinking water, spacious workplace, rest room) are maintained and a comprehensive Health & Safety policy applies which includes regular medical check ups for workers and social benefits, which is reflected by our efforts to gain SA8000:2014 certification.
